SONU NIGAM

Sonu Nigam born on 30th July 1973 at Faridabad. Nigam is an Indian singer, musician, music producer, composer, recordist, music programmer and actor. He prominently sings in Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Tulu, Assamese, Odia, Nepali, Maithili and various Indian languages. He has been one of the highest paid Indian singers. Sonu Nigam is one of the most versatile singer of Indian Film industry.

BABA RAMDEV

Ramdev was born on 25 December 1965 at Mahendragarh district, Haryana. Both of his parents were farmers. He claims he became paralyzed when he was of two & half years and was cured by practicing Yoga. He studied Yoga, Sanskrit & Indian scripture in various Gurukuls. Ramdev took sanyasi diksha and adopted the name Swami Ramdev from Swami Shankar Dev Ji. Ramdev offered free yoga training to villagers of Jind district (Haryana). He practiced self-discipline and meditation in Haridwar (Uttrakhand).

SUSHMA SWARAJ

Sushma Swaraj born on 14 February 1952, former Supreme Court lawyer and the current Minister of External Affairs of India, in office since 26 May 2014. A leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Swaraj is the second woman to be India's Minister of External Affairs, after Indira Gandhi. She has been elected seven times as a Member of Parliament and three times as a Member of the Legislative Assembly. At the age of 25 in 1977, she became the youngest cabinet minister of north Indian state of Haryana. She also served as 5th Chief Minister of Delhi for a brief term in 1998.

KAPIL DEV

Kapil Dev Ramlal Nikhanj, better known as Kapil Dev was born on 6 January 1959 in Chandigarh. Kapil Dev is a former Indian cricketer and he is considered as one of the greatest cricketers of all time. The Indian cricket team won the 1983 World Cup under his Captaincy. In 2002, he was named as the Indian Cricketer of the Century by Wisden. He is considered as one of the greatest all-rounders of all time. He also worked as a coach of National Cricket Team for 10 months.

VIRENDER SEHWAG

Virender Sehwag was born on 20 October, 1978 in Najafgarh. He is a former Indian cricketer and a former captain of India. He is an aggressive right-handed opening batsman and a part-time right-arm off-spin bowler. Sehwag played his first One Day International in 1999 and joined the Indian test side in 2001. In April 2009, he became the only Indian to be honoured as the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World for his performance in 2008 and becoming the first player of any nationality to retain the award for 2009.

GEETA PHOGAT

Geeta Phogat was born on 15 December 1988 in Bhiwani district, Haryana. Mahavir Singh Phogat is her father and also her coch. He is a former wrestler himself and a Dronacharya Award recipient. Geeta is a freestyle wrestler who won India's first ever gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. She is also the first Indian female wrestler to have qualified for the Summer Olympic Games. Recently, she also took part in Khataron ke Khiladi, Season 8.

BABITA PHOGAT

Babita Kumari Phogat was born on November 20, 1989 at Bhiwani, Haryana. She is an Indian female wrestler, who won the gold medal in 2014 Commonwealth Games. Babita also won a silver medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the 2012 World Wrestling Championships. She is the sister of Geeta Phogat who is India's first gold medalist in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games. Babita has a cousin Vinesh Phogat who also won gold, in the 48kg category, at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

SAKSHI MALIK

Sakshi Malik was born on 3 September, 1992 in Rohtak District, Haryana. She is an Indian freestyle wrestler. She won the bronze medal in the 58 kg category, at the 2016 Summer Olympics and became the first Indian female wrestler to win a medal at the Olympics and the fourth female Olympic medalist from the country. Sakshi is a part of the JSW Sports Excellence Program, along with fellow female wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat.

VIJENDER SINGH

Vijender Singh Beniwal was born on 29 October, 1985. He is an Indian professional boxer and the current WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight Champion and WBO Oriental Super Middleweight Champion from Kaluwas, Bhiwani district in Haryana. Vijender gained education in his village, after which he received a bachelor's degree from a local college in Bhiwani. He practised boxing at the Bhiwani Boxing Club where coach Jagdish Singh recognised his talent and encouraged him to take boxing as his career.

JUHI CHAWLA

Juhi Chawla was born on 13 November, 1967 in Ambala district of Haryana. She is an Indian actress, model, film producer, and the winner of the 1984 Miss India beauty contest. The actress has received two Filmfare Awards. She has worked predominantly in Hindi films, in addition to Punjabi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Bengali films. She was a top leading actress in the late 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s and also garnered particular praise for her comic timing and vivacious on-screen persona.
